Very good place. They have everything under one roof. Good service and plenty of parking. All round a great place to go. They have shops upstairs and a little cafe for tea, coffee and snacks. They have a prayer room and toilet facilities.nAlso sell meat and toys for kids.
A nice addition to Goodmayes for sure. A very large selection of items you'd expect in an Asian Cash and Curry. Two floors with a large selection of crockery upstairs. They even have prayer rooms which is a great addition. Plenty of parking available and really friendly staff.
Family Friendly. Opened in August 2023. Fairly new. My first open view visit with family, 15.10.2023.nnShops clean. HALAL FRIENDLY. CAR PARK FREE 3HRS. Suggest keep receipts just in case. Disabled car parking but limited same with Child Parking space.nnPRAYER SPACE - YES and it's Clean. Men and Women section and best Wudu space too. Hopefully this is kept in this manner.nnFriendly staff. I believe they have another branch in Barking.nnThey have a game zone for kids to keep entertained.nnThey have a chai cafe upstairs and seating area. Seating area is comfortable too. They also wear GLOVES.nnThey also have a butcher area for meat and fish. Staff all wear GLOVES. I am happy with this. Pricing not sure you will have to tell and compare with your own local branch to see.nnThey gave lots of frozen goods from samosa to wings etc...nnIf be nice for them to do something for the local community too... Maybe a future thing...nnVideos Uploaded in parts as not able to load more than 30secs.nnThe great things they have space for us that love Karon Board too. It's nice.nnPersonally - I won't be coming very often unless the offers are more welcoming and I didn't find anything worth the praise then any other Bangladeshi grocery you expect and I am next generation.nnI will pop down another time hoping to see more offers etc...
Butchers can't butcher! I ordered 3 baby chickens and asked to cut the pieces up small for a curry, of which the butcher agreed to. However, when I checked the chicken, the pieces were massive, I asked of they could make it smaller and he said he couldn't and they were biryani size. I guarantee you, these were not biryani sized pieces and I had to end up cutting it further at home, albeit I don't have a cleaver to cut through bone. All other butchers would have happily complied to cut smaller. Will not be using their butchers again.
I’ve today. I’ve charged extra few items as what’s on display price and what they charged on till receipt is different. Basically display price was lower than till receipt.nEg trs check peas display price £3.99 for 2kg , on till receipt they charged me £4.50nSnicker chocolate bar display price £1.19 and actually charged £1.49.nKala zera display price also higher than till receipt.nWhen I went to ask till they said to wait further which was not convenient for me to wait long.nI didn’t check other item with display price.nSo please be careful when you guys go shopping there!!!
