The older woman who works there seems to have poor customer service skills. Rude. This is based off multiple visits and I always get rude service from her. Maybe a customer service course would help, or maybe find a job that doesn't involve working with people?
The older ladies customer service and people skills are awful. Talk about rude and bad manners. My advice is to Go to ellenborough half a mile up the road where nothing is a problem.
Yes, this post office may be older or sometimes a little slower than in the big towns or cities but I think it is an asset to Maryport to still have its local post office. Some of the staff may not be as young as they used to be or as pleasant as you think they should be to you, but I think they do a fantastic job, they are very knowledgeable, working under pressure sorting peoples issues out, long hours etc.. I have never had any problem and always find the staff very helpful and polite. If you are polite to them and give them the chance to be polite back before slagging them off you might find out..
Went here for check and send on kids passports. The lady manager was so helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me with a complicated application. Many thanks. Will be using this post office again.
I find the ladies in our local post office lovely helpful and friendly I think they do an amazing job .
Maryport post office need some training on there people skills. Mother and daughter are evil
Gwen who works there on the counter is very rude and has no people skills she should not be working in this service
Worst post office ever I drive 6 miles to workington to not go here!!
Ageing staff who over charge and don't give you what you ask for, she tells you what you can have or go elsewhere!
