Never had a bad meal from here. Foods always freshly cooked and tastes amazing. I place my order over the phone, I get there 15 minutes later and it’s always ready, would give more stars if I could!!
I only live round the corner and my first purchase here was a chow mein that was about 70% beansprouts. Tried it again tonight the fish was vile smelt and tasted like a tuna can left in the sun. Shame on you Martins Lane fish and chips Never again
Ordered for my family of 7, their cod and chips tasted really fresh and the salt and pepper chicken was delicious
I got chips and curry but it was the smallest amount of chips I've ever seen and they dried up within 10 mins of the walk home.
Lovely little chippy plenty of choice, and cheap aswell, small fish dinner £3.80, fish was very nice to, 10/10
Great chippy would be better if they took card payments only had chips but they where lovely fresh would go back yo try different food
6 years ago my review said this "Quite possibly the best chippy on the Wirral. Their prices are competitive and all the staff are really friendly as well." Today is a completely different story. Today I've changed from a 5 to a 1 star. This place is not the same at all. During the last year we have eaten here 4 times, and every time the food has been terrible. The chips are always undercooked and super greasy, the Chinese meals are under-portioned and near tasteless, and you will now wait 15 minutes for a cone of chips, even if the place is empty. The prices have gone through the roof as well. Save your money and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Savoury cakes fantastic I send them to my brother in Scotland as they have never heard of them they are fab well worth the postage
My favourite chippy, very polite staff the chippy is always full, food is great and prices are good too been going for more than 5 years. Always get special fried rice and portion of chips the BBQ sauce is amazing Highly recommend it. Or anything else on the menu. Chips are always Hot too.
