Ordered 8x '2 for £3 monster energy drink' and was only sent 8 cans instead of the 16 i ordered. The order was placed using uber eats. When I rang I was told "we're only trained to take the number of items shown on out tablet when we collect them for the order". Even though he said the order defined each item to be '2 for £3'. I was told the manager wasn't there and they aren't sure how to refund me back.
Not helpful. I needed a Yodel parcel scanning and straight away was told that " it didn't work and had been on and off for days". Told to walk into town? No Yodel drop off there so not sure why... I asked when they thought it might be OK again..nah, no idea.
Parcel was sent here Thursday I cam to collect Friday 'machine broken' phoned up Sunday it was working again. Came down here again Monday Monday 'oh machine is broken AGAIN' Wouldn't even give this place 1 star as when I got there place was closed 10.40am and waited 15minutes just to be told I can't collect my parcel. Absolute joke! If I ever get my parcel I will not be returning and would never recommend going here to anyone!
Went there to collect my eBay delivery. Naturally I was wearing a mask and observing distancing. As soon as I stepped into the store a maskless youth came and stood right next to me! This was right in front of the checkout operative, who certainly would have seen it. Yet she said/did nothing! I had to ask the youth to stand back. I can only assume that this store is not bothering with Covid precautions and would therefore suggest that would-be customers bear this in mind!
Keep losing my parcels! Getting hold of the boss micheal is impossible. Mccolls sort this shop out!
A guy in the store today at 14:00 went above and beyond to help me find a parcel in store and i cant thank him enough! Give him a raise!
Staff are Lovely apart from the owner or old folk. Very rude and narcissistic.
I collected my Virgin Media package from this shop. It was right on the clock and fast. Shopkeeper was also very friendly. Apart from that it is a very large convenience shop that a lot to buy.
Convenience at a price. If they don't have it Spar next door might. If they both don't have it like pesto then it's a short journey to the Co-op on Rowlands Rd.
Don't send your parcels from here. They never see the courier! Get stolen by the staff.
