Been to many Marshalls sites as a Class 1 driver but today was my first visit to this site.nnWhen you arrive on site there are clear, colour coded signs for the various functions on site. I was booked to collect from the flag yard and followed the blue arrows.nnWhen I entered the yard a sign tells you where to stop and directs you to the dispatch office to book in. Unfortunately, for the dispatch team, an IT problem was causing them some stress. The guys in the office, despite being stressed, were apologetic and working flat out to get everything back up and running.nnIn my experience, Marshalls sites generally work like clockwork, if this tech issue hadn’t occurred, this place would be no different.nnA Marshalls colleague from another department came and she took reference numbers, produced a loading docket and got a clamp operator to me whilst others worked to get the IT back up and running.nnI spoke to the clamp operator when he came to my truck and explained that it was my first time on site. He was a top bloke, explained exactly where I needed to go, where I needed to be during loading and gave clear instructions on where I had to go once I’d secured my load. He loaded my truck quickly, safely and very tidily. Top bloke, cannot rate him highly enough.nnOnce secured I went back to the dispatch office to collect my paperwork. One of the chaps in there apologised for the issues I experienced when I arrived on site. I said, I really appreciate your apology but there was absolutely nothing more you could have done. A nice gesture that you simply don’t normally get.nnA long review to simply say, I had a cracking first experience. Clean, tidy and well organised site. Decent people, each and everyone I spoke to and dealt with. Will be more than happy to receive the message from my manager saying I’m going for a load from here.nnWell done all!
Cracking place to load or unload!nReally well organised and run, boss for the day in dispatch sorted paperwork quickly and loader did an excellent job… Refreshing to come somewhere like this…nHours are 7am until 4 pm
Why advertisement all over a fallen soldier area? Just donate next time or dont bother, still get your tax write off from it makes it look tacky!
Great company and product's.
Manufacturer's inside the quarry. Not open to the general public.
