Go as fast or slow as you like around the small track past the paddocks. Plenty of farm animals to see and you are able to pat or feed some. Pony rides were available and a couple of good flying foxes. Value for money.
The animals were so friendly and happy in their spaces. The walk around is really nice and great for kids. Decent amount of food in the $2 bags to hand feed to the animals tooVisited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
This is a lovely place to visit and enjoy the variety of animals there. Deer, sheep, alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks, pheasants, Clydesdale horses, a couple of Texas longhorns, and even more. However, the one year old was most enamored by a maintenance vehicle!
Not a bad place, tickets for adults to cheap. For kids a good place to touch and see and learn. For adults not so interesting. Some animals are in to small cages. Not so good to recognize.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is favourite place with kids. We going there almost every weekend.: We have an annual pass, that is so worth it! If your kids love animals you should try it. : also great flying foxes to have fun.
We had a great time today at the park. Our daughter loved feeding the baby lambs, holding the guinea pigs, exploring the playground area and feeding all the other animals. We're grateful for how friendly the animals were and we enjoyed connecting with them, especially the horses, deer, and donkeys. We highly recommend visiting. Thank you for the special and memorable time for our family.
Finally borders were open and we could travel a bit further. Tauranga was chosen and this animal park seems quite interesting to visit. We just learned about few days ago and we thought it would be nice for our children to get in contact with some nature and animals. It seems like a little zoo in the middle of a splendid park. Quite a variety of animals, well maintained. Little pigs wondered around, little kids loved them. There are some picnic areas inside, it is so good to see many families enjoying some freedom after a period in lockdown.
Great place to visit, also very fair price. The kids and adults love it.Visited onWeekday
Spent a good couple of hours here with my grandchildren yesterday. 8 & 6 year old. One animal mad the other not so keen but the flying fox won him over. Neither wanted to leave. Good outdoor hand washing facility. Took our own lunch and plenty of places to sit. Finished with an ice cream and 2 very happy children.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Enjoyed the walk around, amazing animals, kids loved it. The only downfall was the pony ride, we timed it, less than 1 minute 30 seconds on a walk around an arena of sorts for $5! Definitely go and enjoy the animals but don't waste money on the pony ride
