We had a great visit we took the tour of the mill well worth the money. This is all run by volunteers and because of this it is only open at weekends
Fully working 17th century windmill and craft village.
A nice little shopping area with small shops cafes and businesses. Marsh Mill Tavern recommended.
Good place to find out information on windmill and milling
We went last night. I had the Burger With Bacon and Cheese. I have not had this at the Mill for month's . My order came Burger With Bacon And Cheese but no Cheese a mistake in the Kitchen. And as I remembered you did get a few things on your meal unfortunately it as now all gone. Please do not cut to much.
Food is lovely. Good prices. Horrible service. Waiter discussed and insulted family member eating cake with another staff member loudly enough go be heard from our table.
Took 9year old to visit the windmill old man was lovely however maybe time for some new blood tour struggled to keep my attention never mind my sons.
Windmill in center of Thornton , open to the public and run by volunteers. Inside are the old millstones , machinery , old photographs and memorabilia. Worth a visit.
