I stayed in the apartments for over a month in Aug & Sep 2022 and it was a pleasant experience. The best thing is this place is very close to the Limehouse DLR & the National Rail - so the connectivity is great and you have pretty decent restaurants around the corner and a Sainsbury right in front of the location. the staff are adequately helpful and the best part is the apartments come with a loaded Kitchen and all the equipment needed for a business or personal trip. The only downside is they do the housekeeping only once a week & the shower place is not cleaned thoroughly, but still, my stay was good. - I would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in & around Limehouse.
DO NOT BOOK this place! VERY QUESTIONABLE rating of this supposedly 4-star hotel. I booked two separate rooms a room for 3 people and a room for 2 people for our family of 5 adults. Got given a combined room with 2 double rooms, a double sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. When we queried with the receptionist, he told us this was what we would get if we booked for 5 people. Fine, we accepted it. Upon entering the room, the sofa bed was not set up. Linen, blankets, pillows for the sofa bed was nowhere to be found. Went to the receptionist and he said because we checked in late around 7pm, the maids would not be able to attend until 9am the next morning, meaning we would have to make the sofa bed ourselves. About 20 mins later, he brought us some linen. To our surprise, there was no blanket or doona or duvet whatever you call it! He only gave us a mattress cover. Made our third trip to the receptionist, he said he would do his best to find us a duvet. What he later gave us was a duvet cover!!! NOT a duvet. How were we suppose to sleep with just a duvet cover for goodness sake!! Went to the receptionist a FOURTH time in like an hour. Dad was furious by this stage. We were all very unhappy to be honest. Dad advised the receptionist to take a duvet from one of the empty rooms and so the receptionist did. OMGeeeee! Why did we have to teach the staff what to do??? What an ordeal!!! 24-hour concierge sounds good right? Absolutely an illusion! Staff members were unhelpful and not doing their job. A few times they allowed the same homeless man into the premises without even noticing or asking. When you ask the receptionists to arrange a taxi, they give you contact details and tell you to do it yourself. It's true that this hotel is very close to Limehouse station but be careful only the DLR line takes you to Limehouse station. Not as convenient as I thought, especially when we experienced a strike while we were there. Buses were not reliable and there were always traffic delays.
Staff not properly trained. Checked in and they were requesting I pay for the stay even though I had already paid a month prior. A week after our stay I noticed we had been double charged even though I had clarified with reception that we had already paid. Between the time we were charged and getting refunded, the exchange rates changed so we were not refunded the full amount for something we shouldn’t have been charged for in the first place. Poor service, would certainly not recommend staying here. Very frustrating experience overall.
If I could put 0 starts I could. Never in my life I had had such a terrible experience in a hotel. Starting from the fact that they took 600$ from our backpack, followed by no cleaning service being provided only once every 7 days and when asking for an additional blanket none were available. Terrible location, no one was ever on reception to help you out, very slow service. Do not recommend to anyone.
The apartment was decent, the room was nice, the service from staff was good. One little problem, I booked my stay online and showed confirmation of my booking and my bank statement to show that I had paid for my stay but they kept trying to make me for the full amount at the reception as it was showing on their system. I can understand the situation but if I’ve paid then it’s in issue between them and hotels.com as to why the booking isn’t showing up on their system. I would’ve liked them to chase it up with the online provider instead of nagging me to pay. Nonetheless, great place to stay at and it is located around all the shops and not too far from city centre.
Extreme poor service. I cant imagine how dirty and messy. Someone surprised me opening my apartment door at 23:30 no appointment to fix the broken shower. No cleaning materials nor shampoo or even shower gel. Had to freeze over the night as they didn't give me a quilt cover only bed sheet was available. Absolutely never again.
Afternoon, I recently stayed at limehouse apartments My room was okay not the best, but for the staff alone I would come back, they were so helpful and kind.. especially a young lady at the front desk named Shan. She made it a lovely experience for me and my family thanks
Hippy crack residue on the 3rd floor of the elevator. Very much dodgy dealings going on here. Place is not very clean. Rubbish bins over flowing.Rooms: 2/5
Recently decorated. Choice of studios 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Easy to commute to the centre of LondonRooms: 5/5
