We had some stubborn red wine stains on our oriental rug which we'd tried to remove but probably made things worse! Matthew was extremely knowledgeable and also pointed out that some repair was required to part of the border. We struggled to see where the repair was as it blended in so well. The stains were gone. Overall, the perfect result. Thank you Marlborough Rug!
I needed a rug repairing after it was badly chewed by a puppy. Marlborough Rug Company have provided an outstanding service, making a virtually invisible repair. Matthew went out of his way to help, and the work is to a standard which has surpassed my expectations.
Our rug had a problem with moth damage and we needed advice and repair. Matthew was very knowledgable guided us to the best way of dealing with it and to return the rug to as close to the former condition as possible. It was re woven in some places after previously being washed and moth treated. We are very pleased with the results and cannot recommend the service more highly.
We had an ageing rug that was looking very tired and worn. Having left it with Matthew for deep cleaning, repair and refringing, it returned home today looking wonderful. Matthew was very pleasant to deal with and most helpful in arranging postage by courier to return the rug home we live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I'm very happy to recommend Marlborough Rug Company for any care your rugs require. I will certainly use this company again.
