Good shop, never purchased any clothes at m & s or use their cafe since they stopped doing pots of tea and used paper cups since Corona, food is what most want. Food hall usually busy, I go to pay at the clothes till to get out of the place 10 minutes quicker as not many use the clothes counter, the back door as helped with trade with beach people ect, won't have beach trade when they build the new inland m & s, so may go back to doing final reductions again just before closing as won't sell so much food, have removed the marks & Spencer app from my telephone since m&s were hacked there's no offers on it anymore and maybe the hackers will get my details
Excellent food department. Only place in Weymouth to buy decent quality, fairly priced clothing. Shame it is shutting down in the future...
Overseas visitor from Switzerland.nCalled by on a Sunday to use the food hall for supplies and found everything I needed. The lady on the cash desk treated my goods with care and even packed my bag. This is both rare and refreshing, a level of service I thought had long gone. Not at M&S it seems.Top notch!
The best shopping experience in town. Very clean shop,helpful staff, well stocked and quality food items at reasonable prices.
There was a massive queue in the cafe when I arrived and it took ages to be served. It wasn't helped by having only 3 people behind the counter with one of them loudly announcing she was going for her break but another colleague would be there in 10 minutes. When it was time for me to order, the colleague, very obviously annoyed that she had been left to deal with the incoming flood of customers, was extremely rude and made it clear I should hurry up. Very aggressive, no good morning. An absolute shambles. It's a shame because I used to like shopping there. I say used to because I'll be ordering my products online from now on.
