Lovely big store and very tidy. Cafe was good with quick friendly service. So much choice in the store and some great displays. Shop floor staff very helpful, food hall was great. All the cashiers only interested in pushing the sparks card which spoiled the visit.
The COVID precautions that are in place are good - hand sanitiser,spray to use on trolley handles and track & trace in the coffee shop. There seems to be more space within the shop between rails. I felt comfortable in the shop as this was the first time I'd been in this type of store since February
Misleading prices/offers. Example includes this ham been priced at £1 for at least 6 months, now £1.25 and labelled remarksable value with 25% price increase
It's more expensive than other supermarkets but it's less busy too. The plant kitchen range is competitively priced and very good quality. It's worth it. I've found the veg doesn't go off as quickly as other pkaces.
Went to the cafe for the visit prompting this review. We had cream tea, which was a rare treat. Perhaps not up the quality of a fine hotel, but the scones were lovely and it was much better value than it might be in a swanky venue!
It's a M and S. Sells clothes, food, some furniture and smelly stuff. Pretty much as expected. Today you could tell why the young do not shop here.... average age of shoppers..... 70 plus...ish. maybe that was due to time.of day etc.....
Shocking availability on bedding- obviously not bothered about keeping up stock levels. Very sad looking and empty homeware section. Pyjama selection poor, very limited. Won't visit again and the website is equally frustrating- I wonder if Handforth Dean is due to close?
Vegan plant based range is amazing. Well done M&S
