Possibly now under new ownership? Quality and value for money now non existent. Had to buy 2 packs of chips to get one portion worth eating!! Avoid. Certainly has lost my local custom.

This would have received 0 stars from me but that was not an option. Fish was small, grey and completely mushy, had about 5 chips and the mushy peas were like wall paper paste. Husbands scampi was burnt and inedible. Service was slow.

Its hard to enjoy a meal when the best part is the bottled water. Everything was overcooked and had no taste and the large chips might have been large if you were a very small child with a tiny appetite…..

Quality fish and chips at a great price served by friendly staff. Going to Marks is always a highlight of my holiday and I’ve been there 3 times this week. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and tasty fish and chips. Small portions are fabulous for mum. Love the sausages too. Hope they are still there next year as notice it’s up for sale.

Average fish and chips, can see why the other one has big queues and this doesn’t. Small portions and batter wasn’t crispy at all

We visited southwold with the family, including our furry family. We were welcomed by lots of friendly staff and the dogs were also welcome to sit in while we are. Really great decor and the food was amazing, if I lived nearer this would be my local. Highly recommend a visit here if your passing.

Great tasting fish and chips. But Chip portion very small, could see the bottom of the tray. Was disappointed…..

Excellent fish and chips, we had place and rock, all cooked to perfection. Service very good, Sue extremely friendly, polite and very attentive . Thank you to Sue and our chef.

Okay I used to come here for over 10 years and the fish and chips was brilliant but after covid it was very disappointing but of course every business was struggling. I am please to say that Mark's fish and chips is back again to it previous high standard.  Therefore 5 stars.

Couldn't careless service, drinks never arrived, food overcooked and served in card takeaway box the in restaurant. How not to do it !
