A very small but perfectly formed bakery. Do Not be put off by the size. This is a very popular place and there's a good reason for this, the food is very good, and also freshly baked. Perfect customer service with the staff still wearing masks. Service is quick and precise. If there's a queue outside its worth queueing for !!! Parking can be found opposite on the market square which is free. Open Sundays.
This is by far the best bakery in the UK I always buy my Xmas home made mince pies from here despite moving over 50 miles from the shop. The fresh rolls taste amazing the cakes are to die for. Staff always friendly parking can be a nightmare most of the time but we'll worth the hassle.
Excellent range of products. Great cakes fresh cream and synthetic. Old fashioned cakes and new creations. Savory products Wonderful artisan bread. Always a queue. But very well worth it
Really good bakery have been using it for years, unfortunately do not live near anymore but always make a point to visit when iam in the area. The grandchildren love the duck biscuits.

Becoming a rare thing these days, a small independent bakery serving really good cakes, bread and sandwiches at a reasonable price. Tucked away in the small town of Higham Ferrers it's well worth a visit. Proper crusty bread makes the most awesome toast too! and really delicious cakes. It's always busy and there's a queue on a regular basis...and the reason is the quality and price. Totally recommended. 10 out of 10.

Been going here since I worked at BOROUGH SHOES .IVE BEEN TO MANY BAKERIES .THIS ONE IS A HIGHAM FERRERS TREASURE .ITS THE ONLY PLACE I FIND FOR UTMOST TOP QUALITY CREAM CAKES . OVERFLOWING WITH TASTE N CREAM .THE BREAD IS TASTY .IF YOU HAVENT SAMPLED THESE WARES YOU HAVENT LIVED DIANA
The produce is still as good as ever, and pricing has been held for a long time, but the queuing is ridiculous. During lockdown, it was expected, but since then, there has not been much improvement. I know of several regular customers who no longer shop there because of this. With three or four staff members behind the counter, it should be possible to serve more than one person at a time, but this doesn't seem to happen very often. Sorry, but that's how it is!
