Normally plenty of space but can suffer from faulty entry barriers. Take ticket on entry and pay at booths on return. Change is given. Cameras used to read plates and automatically allow exit after payment. Very slick.
This car park gets a 5 out of 5 for convenience and pricing, but gets a 1 out of 5 for returning the ticket after you've paid and you dont need it to get out. Surely, if it recognises that you've paid why doesnt it just keep the ticket. Or just go back to the "good old days" when you handed your ticket to a cheerful, always singing OAP and pay that way. Or a i just a "moaning old git?" No replies required. Thank you
Large flat carpark central to the shopping centre, good disabled parking.
Toilets haven't been in use for 6 months,. No disabled parking. Very expensive
Don't all carparks have to provide a 10 minute grace period legally? Beware they will charge you here! You used to have 10 minutes free here, but not now.
Handy and loads of spaces. Annoyed as it took 20 minutes to exit south to Gosport.
Lovely clean. Easy access. Elution block close by. Didn't go in to loo. Can't say if improvement on cleanliness or stocked with toilet paper this time.
Is that fareham market Quay car park if so yes it is a good place to go aswell as gosport I have been to North Harbour Portsmouth aswell on my bike it is a nice ride when it is a nice ride there when it is sunny day on the way you see swan's
UPDATE 2021: The disabled parking system now operates by number plate recognition. The registration of your car needs to be registered with Fareham Council first. Would still like to see more disabled bays as it is still quite often difficult to find one! As a disabled driver I am exempt from parking fee and have a card from the local council. However, sometimes it is not possible to park in disabled bay and then have to struggle getting in and out of the car. In my opinion, more disabled parking bays would greatly help.
Large open air car park at the back of Fareham shopping centre. Perfect for all the shops, and local gym and the Police station.
