If you are scared of the dentist you really could do something about it!!

As an extremely nervous patient needing to find a new dentist closer to home I spent hours online looking at reviews just like these. Market Hill Dentistry had such good reviews that I psyched myself up and called for an appointment. Despite my best efforts I cried on the phone just speaking to the receptionist! 

However six months on and here I am, more relaxed about visiting the dentist than I have been in more than thirty years. Louisa has looked after me brilliantly, she is supportive, friendly and positive which is particularly helpful if you are an anxious patient. I also think that she is a brilliant dentist... I have had all sorts of things done now (a crown, fillings, root canal treatment) and honestly none of them hurt at all, neither at the time nor since. Louisa explains your treatment options clearly and does not rush you for a decision.

 I have not been made to feel ashamed or treated as though I am stupid because of the state my teeth were in, which has happened at other practises in the past. Louisa takes great care to make you feel empowered about looking after your own teeth; and although I would not have believed it, having your treatment explained to you before it takes place really does take the fear away.

If you are reading this review because you are looking out for a dentist as I was, I cannot recommend Market Hill Dentistry, and in particular Louisa, highly enough. I can almost guarantee that in six months you too will be writing a review just like this one!!

I registered with Market Hill Dentistry last year after very bad experience with an NHS dentist. I would definitely recommend the practice and Dr. Lawrence. In fact, my husband and daughter are also registered with her now. Everybody I have had a contact in the Dentistry are highly knowledgeable and professional, providing high quality service. Very pleased with everything.

I have been a patient for several years. At checkups, I appreciate the informative way the dentists any hygienists discuss the results. I have confidence in that only work that is necessary is carried out and am impressed with both the dental work and hygienist treatment that I have received.

Louisa Lawrence became my dentist this summer. I have been completely delighted by her treatment and care and would not hesitate to recommend her to any patient. She is genuinely kind, caring and compassionate. She pays great attention to detail and is meticulous in her work. Having had a run of questionable advice from different dentists over the past 6 years I did have trust issues initially but after my first appointment all my fears were allayed. 

Of course Louisa does not work alone and I can say the whole team is superb. I have had an appointment with the hygienist who did a fabulous job. Chloe, the practice manager runs the clinic efficiently and always has a friendly, empathetic approach.

I have had a fantastic experience at the Market Hill branch in Royston each time I have visited. I felt very comfortable seeing Jo who was clearly very knowledgeable in Aesthetics she was very friendly and reassuring with the treatments I had done. I came out from my hygienist appointment with Danni extremely satisfied, she was also very professional and Caring. I am registered with Dr. Sam Pugh who is a brilliant Dentist and makes me feel at ease and comfortable each time I visit, whether this is for a routine check up or treatment. A great experience all round I would recommend to friends and family.
