If I could have given zero stars I would. I used this car park a couple of months ago, went to the machine to pay but it was out of order. I arrived at 12 noon and left at 12.24pm. I received a parking fine from Parking Group, The Parking People for £100.00, discounted to £60.00 if paid within 14 days which I appealed immediately. I didn’t receive a reply, so rang the contact number to be told they only communicate via email. So I emailed again, was asked for the full details which I sent, didn’t hear anything again so sent another email I was asked for all the details again which were provided for a third time. I haven’t had any reply but have now received a notice of debt recovery- unpaid parking charge £170.00 from Direct Collection Baillifs Ltd telling me I am no longer able to appeal the parking charge and if I don’t pay £170.00 the matter will be taken to court.nBe very, very careful if you use this car park, I’ll never use it again
OVERPRICED. Difficult to determine if/when payment made/taken. Can cost £60.00 for 1.5hrs. Money to spend … but no more in Chester le Street.

Keep away .looks like council owned ,but private,parking when other places are free will cost you a£100 charge
Not a bad little carpark but high street terrible not meny shops open looking very drab now
