popped in for a light lunch and a drink. My sister and I were warmly welcomed by the barmaid. Social distancing was evident as was a sign in book at the door hand gel and antibacterial wipes were available. Our sandwiches were well presented and I would definitely recommend The Marjet Arms to anyone visiting Montrose

Friendly local pub with excellent choices of food and drink. And the staff are fab.
Not a drinker so only go for a light lunch or coffee, both of which are great. The soup is always tasty and the staff always bring it over for you. Cosy, comfy, friendly and great value.
Great craic all day. Only downside toilets are a bit wee at prak times
Best place to go in Montrose for a pint. Live bands on weekends, prices are reasonable. Great atmosphere and free wifi which is pretty attractive if you’re a seafarer.
