Having ridden the 6 miles into buxton centre on snowy roads to try and get a badly needed service on my old mountain bike I was turned away and told to bring the bike back when it was clean. No effort was made to ask where I’d come from or offer me a cloth and the chance to wipe it down or dry it off outside, I simply had the door closed in my face and was sent away. Was left feeling like I’d been told off. Other than the snow and ice, the bike was clean. The chances of a dry, sunny day (in buxton) coinciding with a day I am also off work are unlikely much before the middle of summer. I now have to ride the bike home rather than just jumping on a bus. If I’m going to make the effort to put the bike into the car to keep it clean for them, I shall be driving it elsewhere.

Often are the only place with the small parts I need for service or repair of parts, especially RockShox products. Delivery is always quick as well :-)

Coming late into cycling as an older person, 70 this year, I inherited a couple of bikes to take on holiday. Mark Anthony bikes were really helpful in getting new parts and making repairs where I could not. Prompt attention and good communications gives a 5* from me

Seems to flip a coin to decide if he wants to bother himself to help you. Why don't you get a job where you don't have to deal with people. Some of his advice was absolute rubbish. Said no one uses 9 speed cassettes anymore? I think you'll find that's complete tosh. Evans cycles in Macclesfield were so freaking awesome I could have hugged them all.

Stumbled upon this shop by pure luck today after my rear brake failed whislt decending the Cat & Fiddle, called in on the off chance and they helped me get it sorted there and then. Wouldn't take a penny in payment he was just happy to help which is quite refreshing in this day and age. Great guy highly recommend 5*
