I've never been to Mario's pizza but have read an article in Staffordshire Live where they reported that Mario's pizza donated 300 pizza's to people using the food bank for Christmas. What a great thing to do, well done Mario's !
Wow. Super pizza, Not greasy like other places and so tasty! Decent price, great range of food and quick delivery. Will definitely order again and again.
If i could give 0 i would. I live 4mins away food turns up cold complete let down. I got the combo box, chips were stone cold, kebab meat luke warm. Mozzarella stick cold, onion rings cold. Chicken strips and pieces warm.
Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery when quoted 55 minutes get the feeling they hadn't checked Food Hub orders when I rang to chase. Also noticed they now charge for dips. Plenty of other pizza shops in Swadlincote so will be trying elsewhere in future.
Have never had a a bad meal from Mario's.....until tonight. Pizza is undercooked and doughy shame as usually really nice. Will have to put in the oven to cook it. Usually have the kebabs which are excellent but a very disappointed long-term customer
The amount of ham in my pizza was horrendous just send me a full box of it next time, binned the both, kebab was okay
Driver rang, struggling to find address, we met him outside, got in and he gave us 2 small pizzas wrong order, rang back and he was going to swop them after we advised him that the boxes had been opened and my partner had cut one, not knowing the order,son was starving an hour and half later. Rang shop said u gave us wrong pizzas as thought due to covid we thought swopping them was unhygienic. He said the others would b re made , gave us right order but we opened them and thought mistakenly we had a Hawaiian instead of bbq melt.Long story short, we were asked for an apology which we gave but no need for the drivers driver's attitude. Would re order but only on collection. Understand its sat night there've been busy all weekend and wanna go home but no need to bite the hand that feeds ya,,no customers =no business at the end of day. Have been multiple times since first review and have had no probs at all. Food nice, delivery prompt. Glad I didn't go on first impressions.
Just ordered for the first time in over a year and I am REALLY impressed! No plastic packaging, smart new logos on the pizza box and the food has upped it's game! The tomato pizza sauce tastes so fresh and homemade. The chips were really crisp and dry - no sweaty sogginess! Speedy delivery too. Nice one, Mario's!
Ordered pizza as not had one over 3 years as had runs last time freinds said it's changed so we ordered buy one get one free so 2 pizza ordered 4 should come got sent soggy frisbie with cheese on it.Cold chips and charges for delivery. Spoke to someone who said if you want more pizza order it and pay????? When asked what do you want me to do why would I order more soggy slop. Really dissapointed.charged £26 forthis experience. No apology nothing avoid this place.
Food was gorgeous especially the special mix kebab I would like to praise all the staff for there quick and reliable service cannot fault the delivery drivers especially the one I think his name is michael he is very friendly and polite
