A quite subtle Italian restaurant on the Main Street of Ranelagh. Restaurants interior was very authentic and the food was very enjoyable. I would recommend one of their range of pizzas. Very accessible location, I recommend a visit if you’re looking to eat somewhere close to the city but without the noise. Edit: staff are very lovely too :
We had pizza, pasta and salmon. Everythin was so delicious. I will definitely come back. I highly recommend it.
Lovely place. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The Aperol Spritz weren't as good as in Mario's restaurant in sandymount but they were ok. The food on the other hand was amazing!
Great restaurant with vegetarian options had an amazing aubergine dish ditch I super recommend. The space is a bit tight so its better for couples of friends, maximum one kid, or older kids. I don't recommend if you have 2 wild toddlers. Great location and atmosphere, and service is good, really nothing to complain. Vegetarian options: There are a few pasta options and I had Aubergine dish that was amazing I think is parmigiana the name.
I really hate having to give bad reviews but unfortunately Mario's deserve one. Pizzas had burnt base's, my chicken was reheated and was tough as boots. Avoid at all costs... Much better offerings close by.Food: 1/5
Went here last Saturday evening with friends. 2 of us had the pizza and the other pasta. The pasta looked kinda oily to me but my friend said it tasted good. Only one of us had the bruschetta starter. The pizza was excellent though. Very good size compared to the price. And plenty of toppings. Definitely recommend the antica if you like goats cheese. Had no room for dessert but did share 2 bottles of wine. The bill came about 100 euros which is fair for 3 people. Minus one star though due to bad service. My friend asked for a espresso but it never came. Couldn't be bothered to ask for it again.
Fantastic food, really beyond our high expectations. Perfect Italian atmosphere. Great staff. Can't wait to go back!
I've been several times there. The good things are their relatively fair price, acceptable quality and no need to advance booking. But the down sides are the staff are slow and not always very friendly. BTW, the pizza in the picture costs around 15 EUR.
Delicious Italian food. The antipasto plate was fabulous as were the pizzas. Chocolate Sunday to finish, worth the calories!
Definitely not Rosemary potatoes my main course chicken very dry served with green leaves apart from that everything else was okFood: 3/5
