So my brother is always raving about this place as its his local decided to give it a try and pleased to say I was not left disappointed or hungry i went for a regular portion of fish and chips and as you can see from the picture the fish was massive. Chips were also very nicely done. Did not find a single bone in the fish and the batter is delicious, buttery and soft but with a crunch to it. Excellent
I stopped at Mario's for a take away late lunch of Cod and Chips.I have used Mario's for the last 20 years. But I hadnt been in for at least 4 years. It hasn't changed a bit. Very good service from the staff Freshly cooked Cod and Chips extremely tasty and well priced. The Best Fish and Chip shop for miles
Great local Fish and Chips takeaway, staff were very helpful and the shop was very clean. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, cod was fried to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again
good fish and chips place plus its local and you support the community this way. aside from that i hate the fact that they don't separate the meats and fry them both in the same oil both the chicken and the pork. so they dont use different oil or space for chicken and pork separately
Delicious and very reasonably priced. Large cod and chips is around £8.50. Best fish and chips in the area!
Used to love this takeaway however went tonight to get my partner dinner after work about 8.35 got savaloy which was cold, chips which must have been heated up. Such a shame as this was one of the best chip shop in the area Parking: No problem
Great local chippy with friendly staff and good food. Food is always to a good standard and HOT. They have recently started taking card payment so no more digging around for change!

Great tasting fish and chips from a long open family shop, I've been going to Mario's for over 16 years and it's the best in the area in my opinion. Friendly staff and parking outside if you're lucky!. Highly recommended.
