Popped in for a swim on a day pass. The changing rooms were OK, but only two cubicles. When you are an older lady like myself a bit more seating would be welcome. Lockers were easy to operate and most were in working order. Showers are nice, I could only find one hairdryer and couldn't work out how to switch it on, probably me being a bit thick! Poll was a little cold, but was warmer later on. I thought the depth would be the same, but it does get deeper. Not being a good swimmer I had to turn round and keep to halfway. Its not a complaint, just I have to touch the bottom of the pool. Really enjoyed the time in the pool and will go again.
We really enjoyed our visit. We knew it has only just been reopened and so expected some initial teething problems but they were minor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and the children loved the pool which was immaculate. The bars and restaurant areas were done to do a high standard as well. It was also incredible value for money compared to other accommodation we have had in North Wales.
We live locally and took advantage of the opening offers to book a 3 bedroom premium chalet with a view to recommending it to any visitors wanting to stay nearby. We understood that it had recently opened and may have some teething problems.nYes there were a some minor issues with the chalet which we reported to reception and will hopefully be rectified.nThe building is on two levels and has a lift which is currently not operational, this caused a few issues for my wife who has some mobility issues, we were reassured that this should be sorted very soon.nThe gym and spa are not operating yet but this was made clear prior to booking. The pool is very nice although a little small and shallow.nWe ate in the restaurant 3 times, Friday evening, Saturday breakfast a complimentary opening offer and Sunday lunch. All meals were excellent and the staff very attentive, some were a little nervous but were new starters and will obviously settle down in time. The only issue with the restaurant is that it is a thoroughfare between the reception area and the sports bar which may well be sorted once the gym is opened.nOverall a very pleasant experience not spoiled by some minor problems.
We booked this on short notice. We've stayed in the area previously and love it but not this complex. It is very newly opened so minor construction still going on but doesn't effect the stay.nThe kids loved meeting Percy the peacock who visited family for a crumbled biscuit. He is friendly and gentle so don't be afraid.nHuge pool included in accommodation and soon a gym.nThe log cabins are massive internally unlike other accommodation we have used before. Please check photos properly to get what I mean. We stayed in 2 bed Premier, small kitchen with large fridge beers lol , toaster and kettle no oven or hob huge living room with approx 50 inch smart tv , huge walk in wet room with toilet , 1 large double bed room and 1 large double bed room en suite with television, everything is brand new.nFree parkingn2 bars , 1 is animal friendly.nShort drive to all local towns for beaches .nLovely area great for kids etc.nWe immediately booked to go again in 2 months time.nGive it a try , you be glad you did.
I Bucked for a one night stay as a birthday treat late May, when we showed the hot tub wasn't working, the workers tried to solve this the best they could but unfortunately couldnt that evening the manager then gave us a free night's stay with food&drinks at the sports bar and a working hot tub the second night!, the food was great & over all our stay was lovely!, we are so thankful to all workers to making this more special than originally planned! We will defiantly be bucking again :
