Nice clean station, the choice of food limited, 2 minutes away from the beach
Pretty basic Victorian esq station that has no barriers but an overwhelming level of security…it’s Margate, not Westminster. It’s really nice how it opens up onto the ocean front tho and loads of parking and other transport right outside
Step free access to all platforms via the main entrance and using lifts to the platforms.nToilets on platform 1.
The security here were great and went out of the way to help me with my suitcase and camera gear I was carrying struggling with. It was really nice of them to help me get my luggage safely on the train. The random act of kindness has made my day a lot easier.nnThankyou Margate security! :
Lovely Victorian style train station. A nice cozy cafe at the Entrance.
