We were able to take advantage of the January 50% off mains deal and enjoyed some fine food. I had the lamb roast which was cooked to perfection. As a special occasion venue it would be very nice. It's a pity it is so far out of the city as it seemed very quiet for a Wednesday evening.Food: 5/5
expensive for pi$%-*ash Cheap ingredients, no quality, no kitchen techniques, raw meats for lunch, frosty dessert from the frozen. Not recommended for anyone. Community kitchen for homeless can be much more better. The staff behavior is the only one thing what I can valued.
Overall experience was very poor, the first time I have ever sent food back to a kitchen. The waitress who served us was inexperienced and lingered, bread and water was offered before we had to chance to look at the menus. 750ml bottle of water costing £4.50. Ordered ribeye cooked medium, was prepared rare and extremely chewy. The quality of the food and experience was not even close to the price tag. £80 for 2, With no drinks or dessert.

Good food and welcoming staff. Location doesn't have the wow factor being tucked away inside a hotel so not a 'destination restaurant'. Would return if in the area
I enjoyed my first dinner here during my Oxford Trip and had a real good meal. I ordered Potted Duck with Green Peppercorns for the starter and the Shepherd's Pie for the main-course. Both of them were quite delicious and very filling too. The service was attentive and pricing quite adequate. I had a good time here and recommend it to all travellers.

Fantastic, excellently cooked and good service by the hostess. Very impressed.
High standard of food and service. The staff were very kind and helpful. Wasn't expecting this standard of restaurant in the hotel. A welcome surprise.
