Marazion Museum

"Marazion’s town museum provides a fascinating exhibition about historic Marazion to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. It is located on the ground floor of the Town Hall in what was once the Marazion & District Fire Brigade’s headquarters. The back of the complex originally housed the town gaol, and a typical cell has been reconstructed there.The museum includes an eclectic mix of artefacts, donated by the people of Marazion and relating to life here in the past, including farming, blacksmith and wheelwright tools.We also have a unique exhibition devoted to the battleship HMS Warspite, including a large model. She served in both world wars, earning the most battle honours of any ship, before being broken up on Marazion beach."
