If I could give zero stars I would , your appointment booking system simply does not work ! You can’t walk in to make an appointment, it’s only by phone , if you ring and get the ring back system you are rung back to be told there are no appointments left ! If you managed to actually get through you can only book appointments for that day is that for your own stats. I live over 100 miles away from my elderly poorly mother so can’t book an appointment for when I know I am down with her to take her to see you. My mother has given up trying to get through to you so I thought I would try, so unless you managed to get through and can get to you that morning you can’t get an appointment . I managed to get through this morning and could have driven my mother to see you tomorrow but you only provide appointments on the day . Shocking patient care. So no system of urgent and non urgent appointments ! Your system needs a review and your patients need to be put before your statistics !
I would put no stars if possible. I rang today starting from 8:25 I know it's an 8:30 start. Managed to speak to a receptionist at about 9:15. What happened to compassion??? This lady seemed already stressed from the get go. I tried to explain my situation about my daughter Crystal but she seemed to have am antra which she kept repeating to me... Ring 8:30, no doctor to see you, ring 8:30, no doctor to see you... She did not even stop to listen to me, just kept on talking over me. Did I say talking, shrieking over me... I know I cannot talk about my daughter's struggles on this forum but for someone who should show some compassion at the end of the line, I found she had increased my stress levels just talking to her. Wow, I just saw the reply to my complaint by the manager and how I upset their receptionist!... For once, read the reviews of your practice on this page and learn some humility instead of being so defensive when someone posts a review which puts you in a bad light. I will be contacting the CCG and ask for subject request of the telephone recording
Never had a bad experience here and I rarely write reviews but I feel I must. I took my poorly 3.5 year old boy in yesterday and he was having a very bad time, kicking, screaming, throwing himself around and there was NOTHING I could do about it. I have a weakness in the right hand side of my body so doctor Brown came to my rescue and scooped him up and took him back to reception where Claire the Doctor who we had an appointment with then took over. She sat with him to try and calm him down and let him watch pepper pig on her Ipad. And when we had finished she assisted me outside to help get him back in his buggy. She was running a bit late by that point but she could see I was struggling. Thank you manor park surgery
Absolute joke! Getting an appointment is basically impossible. You will get told to call at 8.30 am and once you do the whole of eastbourne is calling and by the time they answer it will be 9.30/10 in which they will tell you to call the following day at 8.30am. Its just the same old cycle and no appointment or your issue getting sorted. Leave asap
Disgusting service, was told to call back if condition gets worse. Called at 8.30pm on the dot, sorry computer says no, try again tomorrow. Called 111, took a while to get through, but amazing service. Was told that they would instruct my doctor to call back. Phone rings, no doctor, but receptionist telling me to call back tomorrow, not even the chance of speaking with a doctor. Been with this surgery over 4 years, they clearly don't give a dam.
Attended the practice this evening and found everyone very polite and helpful. Had an appointment with Clare who was excellent and put me at ease.
I have been with this surgery for many years and have always received the very best treatment. Everyone I've seen there has always been so helpful and patient, I couldn't ask for more
Just thought I should share, I was nervous about my appointment with Claire. She was absolutely brilliant. Put my mind at rest and explained things really thoroughly. Loved the info bag too! Thankyou so much.
Dr ‘B’ and ‘T’ need their license to practice taken from them. Look at your attitude in response to your patients. Burnt out simply doesn’t cut it. I wonder what made you so bitter and what has led you to work with people when you clearly have not a single ounce of care or empathy for a single person. I changed surgery years ago and I’m glad I did. But I came back to mention that you also placed unnecessary psychiatric labels on me, telling me that I was psychotic when I presented a positive pregnancy test and told a doctor I was having contractions. You told me it was in my head. I ended up being left to miscarry twins at home. I also had the phone put down on me by reception under the direction of dr T. And Dr brown the rudest I’ve met of them all. You’re all evil
This surgery has really improved over the last year. The all the staff are always friendly and really helpful. The well woman clinic with Claire is outstanding and has helped me so so much.
