This has to be one of the very best practices anywhere, not just this area. The standard of patient care is uniformly excellent with great back up from ancillary staff for the GPs and constant moves to improve. The service provided can make it hard to remember just how much the NHS is struggling as it is still first rate and the new triage referral system has contributed greatly to this. Welcoming and caring staff make such a difference and over 30+ years, this is only getting better. So glad we have this quality.
I've been going to pam awhile now with my mental health and other problems, Pam is a absolute diamond. She's helped me more then anybody to get where I am now. She has always reassured me in alot of things and I'm very greatful for her! Nothing is ever to much trouble. Mannor house are very lucky to have her there as she is one in a million! Also the receptionist are lovley to! And Debbie who works on the prescription side!
Not feeling very well and filled in the triage form. I had a txt back from then and later on a fone call from reception. I had an appointment within a 3 hours. I saw a lovely paramedic lady who was helpful and patient. Thanku. I think she was named Anna?
Given all the bad press the NHS gets I want to point out how well organised and attentive this practice is. They're easy to deal with and always respond to online enquiries quickly.
The paramedic we saw today Stephen was excellent with my mum he showed patience humour empathy. The best experience both of us have ever had at manor house highly recommended
A recent episode of ill health necessitated me having to visit the surgery and interact with staff on a number of occasions recently. I absolutely cannot fault the service I received from receptionists and doctors alike. I was treated with respect and courtesy and - most importantly of all - I really felt listened to by the GP that I saw. His demeanour really reassured me at what was a stressful time for me. Nothing but praise for everyone at this surgery and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a GP to register with.
I personally cannot fault this surgery. Have had to use it quite a lot recently and have always got an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful too and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this surgery, especially hearing the bad comments from colleagues about their own surgeries Thank you Manor House I really appreciate your efficient service!
I am so impressed with the Triage system at Manor House Surgery. I was able to make an appointment and choose a Doctor of my choice. The following day, I needed another appointment for a separate issue. I was called on my phone, by a receptionist to give me another appointment, within ten minutes of me entering the second request. First class surgery, very helpful receptionists and Doctors. Thank you.
I am a patient with Manor House surgery Glossop. In the absence of an available appointment I was advised to call 111 or attend a local walk in centre. After consulting with 111 I was advised that a medical professional from Manor House would call me back before the end of the day. Nobody called. I am now sat waiting in a walk in centre. Usually the service from Manor House is pretty much spot on despite an unpleasant reception however on this occasion I am unhappy I didn’t receive a call back.
I feel I have to give credit where its due I have received excellent service from doctors, nurses and most receptionists lately. It is difficult to get an appointment sometimes but if its urgent they find you one.Great doctors bar one who fortunately has gone now. I'm grateful to them as I've needed help recently .
