Really lovely place if you are passionate about plants. Really lovely place even if you aren’t! Enjoyed seeing a lot of houseplants I have, growing abundantly here in the most beautiful ways. Very accessible and easy stroll around inside the greenhouses. £1 entrance is a steal. Good experience for people of all ages, many textures to see and feel, plus butterflies, fish and terrapins too!! As a big foliage lover I was in heaven here, really beautiful green plants! I adored the ferns and the banana tree was fruiting up a storm!!
£1 to visit and free for under threes, this was a great place to visit. Lots of tropical plants, fish, terrapins and butterflies made for a fun half hour. PLEASE BE AWARE ITS CASH ONLY £1, per person under 3s are free. It doesn't take long to walk around good value for £1. There are exotic flowers, a few fish ponds, terrapin ponds, butterflies , educational boards, and some dodgy looking dinosaurs. I wouldn't visit just for this attraction but it adds to a great day out by visiting the playground and splash park
Really good day lovely park plenty of places to sit and have a pick nick. The gardens where really nice plus it only cost a £1 to walk around the tropical jungle experience which was great. Highly recommend to visit. Ticket only £1 per person by cash. Any cards are not accepted. No toilets. It’s very tropical and green inside. Turtles and butterflies , fish . It’s almost same as tropical world in Leeds. I loved it and my family too. I would definitely come again. Car parking is free.
Great for the children, read the signs and do the activities and there is hours of fun for such a small place. We will come back in the summer. Bring cash its only £1
We came across from Castleton, Rochdale area today with our two youngsters. We had a great time here today at the Jungle Experience. Seeing beautiful butterfly's and tons of Turtles. I was full of trepidation as we entered the TIME ZONE in this place. What wonders or terrors from prehistoric times would I encounter?... Some plastic dinosaur toys and a very sad looking Pterasaur hanging from the roof was the disappointing answer. On the whole though, my son enjoyed the butterflies and turtles, and the experience was £1 so it's all good!
