Manor Farm
"Your next visit to Prescot wouldn’t be complete without a visit to The Manor Farm in Rainhill. An old 17th-century farm house that was converted into a pub in 1977, tradition is at the heart of everything we do. Inside we even have an original well containing fresh water. We’re big fans of cask ale at the Manor Farm and offer a rotating selection of regional and national beers to try to suit every taste. And to go with it, we have a fantastic range of traditional pub food. From light bites to hearty dishes that will keep you going all day long, we’ve got something for everyone. If you’re lucky enough to visit us on a sunny day, then make the most of it by enjoying our large patio areas that have fantastic views of Merseyside."

Not a bad place actually. Lovely building and gardens. It was quite busy when we went with a party going on as well as lots of other families/kids too. Our food came in good time though and was tasty and reasonably priced.
Another lovely visit to the Manor. Me and my daughter had breakfast, the food came out hot and was really tasty. Had exceptional service from Laura who couldn’t do enough for us, always made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. She is an amazing asset to the establishment. Pub was clean and toilets clean also. Will be coming back.
Had our Christmas Day Dinner here this year. Won't lie, it's the first Christmas Day I have eaten out - And I wasn't disappointed!!! WELL worth the money. Food was lovely, and the staff were brilliant - Nothing was too much trouble. Very warm, friendly atmosphere.
Poor.. There was nobody behind the bar when came in & when someone came out we were told it was a half hour wait for food when we ordered at 12.45.We didn't receive our food until 1.55 after asking at 1.45 & being told it was being plated up. Steak was done to death I asked for medium rare & service was uncommunicative re cutlery etc so had to go look for it when meals arrived..
Such a shame, looks lovely from the outside but inside is old, tatty, dusty and dirty. Staff are not welcoming in the slightest, stood around on their phones looking incredibly bored. Food wasn’t great either, very bland and clearly just warmed in the microwave except the gravy which was freezing. Would not recommend.
Booked for Easter lunch with kids and grandkids. Sunday menu was not available as indicated on the website, and the limited menu that was offered had many items unavailable either due to unfulfilled order by suppliers or because of a function booking with prebooked orders..we were booked for 12noon but meals were not served until 1.10pm..kids were becoming very bored and fractious , they are varying ages from 1 to 8 years old and were hungry. Meals were tasty enough when they arrived, but portion size very small and overpriced for this reason. Would not recommend this branch of Marstons, Have been to others with better experience.
Cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. Basic pub food i ordered a mixed grill which was so dry and over cooked I could not eat it. I told the lady working behind the bar to which I got a half hearted apology. Will not be returning
First time visiting, what a beautiful pub!real fires, rustic beams and a summer garden I'm sure is unrivalled locally!!food was good quality, and good value.staff were really good aswell...already looking forward to revisiting!!
lovely place - nice place for kids BUT the two men serving today where bad they got the wrong drinks swearing around 12/13 year olds and younger talking about fighting and one left from behind the bar and went to another person i don’t know if they where friends and was being weird and like so weird omg and the crisps where 1.20?? they had no chips no crisps left ? awful service. we got given a DRITY cup with LIPSTICK MARKS around the side of it. VILE. Would recommend for maybe just drinks - otherwise it’s okay
Nice place. Visited with friends after a walk in the area. I had a nice meal but others in the group were disappointed with theirs. The meals did take a long time to arrive but the staff were very pleasant
