An interesting place to visit in the Lake District, worth exploring. The building is amazing. The restoration which is ongoing is a credit to all involved, especially the volunteers who give up so much of their time to bring a beautiful building back to life. The walk through the woods to the beach was so peaceful and calming, with amazing views of the coast. There is a homely cafe to sit in and digest all that you have seen a lot going with great coffee and cakes. So much more to see, we will be back.

The more you go the more you learn. Beautiful temple and the food at the cafe is so tasty. I love this place. Hopefully this year I will be able to go on weekend retreats .I have beautiful family photo's of us all on the beach I cannot wait to return.

Best trip ever. 5 mins from the sea, staff were so friendly. The tea and cake we had was beautiful and cheap as, for the lake district. We also had a 1 hour guide around the temple and other building for FREE. The guy was a legend and didnt even ask for donations at the end. We are now looking to go stay there for the weekend because they were so friendly and i felt at peace. Its a must see, takes up 2 hours of your life #amazing

One of my most favourite places. The teachings are life changing and the atmosphere of the temple are perfect for meditating either in the class or alone. The cafe serves excellent food and the grounds are beautiful in all seasons.

Have been there on 3 retreats in the last 4 yrs. Absolutely fantastic place to relax and reflect
