I was going to sell my car on Auto Trader and decided to accept a provisional offer from Manheim to see what happened. I'd already been to 'we buy any car' and found them rude and they barely looked at my car and gave me a ridiculous offer. Manheim made the process easy front start to finish, they sent a lovely guy called James to view my car and he checked it throughly & gave me a decent offer which was so much better than I was expecting! Highly recommend
I would never buy from this auction again. They tend to use dealer auctions as a shield to sell their problematic cars, I bought a Nissan Qashqai 27K miles, advertised as 'excellent condition' turns out the vehicle has a gearbox issue, confronted them about it, they're saying go over to Dealer auctions and Dealer auction is saying go back to Manheim Auction! worst buying experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY FROM THIS AUCTION!!!!!!!
DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME!! WORST AUCTION HOUSE IN ENGLAND, VERY RUDE STAFF WHEN THEY BOTHER TO ANSWER, NEVER BOTHER TO ANSWER THERE PHONE MOST OF THE TIME, THE SURECHECK IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON. AND ALL THE GRADING IS WRONG, UNDISCLOSED FAULTS ON THE SURECHECK, THE WAY THIS AUCTION IS GOING ABOUT THERE BUSINESS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL, BETTER OF BUYING WITH BCA.
Very disappointing, online auction only and public are not allowed in or to bid on any units. Seems like a closed shop. I would thoroughly not recommend this establishment no cars to view.
Asked to drop car off here following a finance agreement. No hand over documentation, car check or receipt when dropping off. A few weeks later handed a bill by the finance company for damage to the front wing. Luckily enough we took pictures to show the damage was not there when dropped off, raised it with the Manheim and they said the photos were not acceptable despite clearing showing the area not damaged. Really unprofessional and rude, avoid at all costs unless you would like them to rob you!!!
They will knock you down justifying by finding hairline scratches avoid

AVOID THIS AUCTION. All faulty cars with fake surecheck reports, when it says car is perfect but its the total opposite, they really need to speak and understand there customers better, The lady on the phone is just rude,
First time using Manheim auctions I have put 2 very low mileage vehicles through auction vehicle 1 sold but buyer refused to pay Vehicle 2 didn’t hit reserve Then was told both vehicles have been refused at auction and must be returned Then i receive a outstanding bill for wasting my time
We were running late but this couldn't be helped due to traffic. The guy surname Patel rang me before the appointment to check my eta... told me to call him when I was there. I got there, the building was locked and i rang him 5 times but no answer. Stood in the rain for 15 mins waiting for him but he didn't come. Went and sat in our car and 20 mins later my husband rang him and he answered! He said he was there waiting for us.... but never returned my calls!!! So he kept us waiting for 35 mins in the rain, was very rude when doing the inspection and turned out he saw us when we arrived as he was doing an inspection in front of us! A bit of common courtesy would have helped! Dont bother with this place they're rude, arrogant and dont care about their customers.
