A very nice bar in Central Manchester, we had gone into Manchester to visit the Christmas markets, where we also like to try the bars and pubs in the area. There was a pleasant early evening ambience when we called in. Low lighting, dark decor and panelling. It was very pleasant. The only downside was the cramped conditions around the table seating at the front side of the bar. Overall a nice experience
Great vibes food good....all our party loved it. Our server was amazing big shout out to Rowan he truly was fantastic!! He really looked after us even after we ran him ragged and he didn't know what was going on anymore! We were a group of 20+ wild nurses. Thanks Rowan you were the best!!!
Wow!! You can always tell how good a place is by asking for simple cocktails. They couldn’t even get a simple margarita right. Made with lime cordial instead of lime juice. Even the bouncers told us we would be out within 15 mins when we walked in. We should have listened!
Went for bottomless brunch — food was horrendous, half a chicken tender and a piece of bacon on 3 pancakes. Hardly a ‘stack’ for £35.
It’s a great venue, I have recently been to Manhatta three times for the Bottomless Brunch/ parties. They are amazing, Prosecco refill and cocktails at the same time. And the menu choice is great. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend!
I am absolutely appalled at the experience I had here, group of 10 people 3 of us got turned away for trainers but they were unbranded and plane, we also arrived before the “dress code” started because they want a posh experience when half of the people had trainers on and gym wear as described by the rude bouncer. Spoke to the manger rude. They talk about maintaining a posh atmosphere when the bathroom is unclean and flooded ruined my cargo pants. Quite frankly ruined our night. Due to the decision we started our bottomless late and wasn’t aloud to remake the time. Will never come here again, rude. Bouncers are on a power drive it’s hilarious. Will not be returning. Don’t go here if you want a nice night out because the music is too loud couldn’t enjoy the meal
Poor service and attitude, wouldn’t recommend if you want to have a nice experience. Been to Manahatta in York a few times and the service has been excellent. Booked Manahatta Deansgate for a group of 12. Walked straight in no doorman but staff said the table would be another 10 mins as we were a bit early and the table was being set, so we went for a wander and came back. 10 mins later there was now a doorman, asking if we had a booking and for ID. He was very rude/abrupt for no reason, but I appreciated the gesture, being the wrong side of my 30s. He then wouldn’t let one of the group in for plastic studs on his shoes. Apparently this is a “no spike venue” - presumably that doesn’t include the spikes on girls heels and bags. If we’d stayed in the venue 10 mins earlier, we wouldn’t have had a problem though. The manager came over and had just as bad an attitude as the doorman. He refunded the one group member. As we didn’t want to leave one of our group behind, we asked for a refund for the whole group so we could leave. I have to say the young lady who was making up the table was great, and sympathised with the situation. We also hadn’t even mentioned the fact I’d booked a table for 12 and it was basically 3 separate tables of 4 which isn’t the best experience. We’d had this planned for months and friends had travelled from all over the UK for the day to celebrate a birthday. We went around the corner to The Blues Kitchen where the staff and doorman were excellent and managed to fit us in last minute, and we had a great time, so all wasn’t lost - lesson is to go there instead!
It was my partner’s 30th birthday and we started our day here. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing!!. Ash our waiter was excellent told us his recommendations. Very quick with drinks and kept the Prosecco flowing!. The food was delicious hot and quick!. We finished our bottomless drinks and stayed to have another. The atmosphere was great and music was spot on. The restroom was lovely and clean too and nice little touch with the hand cream!!. We cannot wait to visit again!. Absolutely well worth the money!. Thank you Manhatta staff!
Booked a birthday bottomless, door staff rude on arrival. Then wouldn't let one of our party in for having plastic stud spike shoes which is comical. Staff said they would help but bouncer seemed to overall. Definitely do not recommend.
It was ok. The server was brilliant and the brunch drinks were properly bottomless but not sure if they were a bit of a victim of the crowds out and about as the food arrived later than expected and I'm not a big fan of cold chips
