Story

Mark Luke and his family have led The Mandarin restaurant since its inception in 1969 which has set the standard that many new venues strive to emulate. This restaurant -bar - lounge offers a stylized ambiance allowing you and your companions to relax. The polished décor and lighting set the mood of cultured decadence offering a chilled atmosphere to enjoy great Drinks and Asian cuisine.

Inspired by the long standing Chinese Banqueting tradition, The Mandarin has its roots firmly set in offering good quality Cantonese, Peking and Szechuan style Cuisine. Their ability for presenting quality dishes is emulated throughout their partially renewed menu.

The mandarin offers a tasting menu for lunch, perfect for sharing whilst the evening menu demonstrates their ability for presenting Far Eastern dishes with a modern flair, reviving old recipes by combining fresh products, different cooking methods and exotic flavors to produce boasting signature dishes such as our Baked Lobster with ginger and spring onion, Sizzling Fillet of Beef Chinese Style or Our Famous Crystal or Crispy Peking Pacific King Prawns to name but a few….
