A genuine discovery! Finding ourselves in Tadcaster the MP proved to be an oasis amongst a desert of sombre buildings and closed shops. Entry revealed a 60'sesque type décor but an interesting menu. The waitress was pleasant but seemed to be like a work experience person but the Proprietor, Kim I think that's his name was the most genial host that you could wish for: pleasant, friendly & genuine he was a delight. However the best was still to come, The Food, absolutely brilliant...taste, texture & presentation what a feast! This little restaurant in the proverbial outback can put many a more glamorous bigger town/city restaurant to shame. Well done Kim, his chef, the Mandarin Palace and Tadcaster......like Schwartzaneger, we shall return!
