The framing work was shabby: glass was loose, the corners were jagged with saw marks/cracks and their marker lines for cutting were smudged in the corners. On top of that, the service was appalling: belittling, impolite and they did not deliver the frame in the time they had promised even though they had a week to get the job done. It seemed that the clerk was more interested in trying to find “funny” remarks to put down his customers with, rather than actually listening to their order He needed to call me back to ask the colour of my frame even though I worded my full order twice. Twice, because they obviously forgot the first one I would recommend to avoid this place if you want quality frames and to be treated decently.
Dropped a photo to get framed and was told it would be roughly one week, give or take, and I would receive a call. After 2 weeks I called and left a message asking for an update. I called a few more times after with no answer. At 4 weeks I went in to the shop to be told they had a delay and it wasn't done yet and I was faced with insincerity. It's a shame because I had heard great things about this place but would have expected at least a reply to my phonecall if not a phone call outright saying there was a delay.
No-nonsense picture framing workshop operating out of small premises on Tib Street in the Northern Quarter. The usual wide range of frame and mounting options, at reasonable prices. Helpful, chatty staff. Can't really go wrong.
Took in an original pastel sketch soft chalk from known artist. The member of staff held it with his fingers on the art, started rubbing a line out that interfered with how I wanted it mounted, but not cautiously/respectfully, which left pastel on his finger - and when I received the framed sketch 3 days later good turnaround it was slightly wonky with the horizon not straight... so I’ll reset it myself ... I’m afraid I won’t be using them again unless it is simple poster or replaceable art.
The best framing service in Manchester. Brian and John are excellent each time and I have no hesitation in recommending them to all my freinds

Absolute rubbish. Ordered 3 frames. 1 frame has a crack on the bottom. One frame is misshaped. One frame has a crack on the window.
Fabulous quality framing and extremely helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
