Really positive experience using this service at Terminal 1. We haven't flown from Manchester airport before. I was surprised how quick and easy it was to find the meet and greet. The staff were very friendly & helpful and showed us exactly what to do at drop off and explained how the pick up would work. I would definitely use this service again if we fly from Manchester again. I would recommend this service rather than parking in a long stay car park. Thanks!
Do not use use the meet at greet service at Manchester airport. They steal things from inside your car cash, coins, sunglasses and take no accountability for damage caused whilst the vehicle is in their care. For some reason photos are only taken on initial entry, so you need to do a forensic analysis when collecting. This can be made difficult when they return your car filthy, and have no cleaning facilities. Reporting damage when you’ve cleaned the filth they caused is dismissed as per there T&Cs which are not fit for purpose. When pressed on not being able to see damage because of mud they said we could have asked the manager who would have cleaned the car, but they do t have facilities. Asking to see the documented process for that they said it’s part of their Standard Operating Procedure, but they won’t share it. Which sounds like a lie, they might have written it in now but not likely it was there before. Sly grifters posing as a premium service.
Very very angry as I had a dent in my car on collection and they accepted no responsibilty unless i could prove it was them.... How do I do that!! Also the cars have to be left in lines with no real space either side to get out easily - so expect damage from other customers or the car park drivers - with no recorded evidence!!... See response from the parking team... Following your report, the Car Park Team Manager conducted an investigation into the reported damage to the nearside rear door of your vehicle, the details of which have now been passed to me in order to contact you. To clarify, even though a vehicle is within our Meet & Greet or Drop & Go parking products, the responsibility for any damage to a vehicle depends on who caused the damage and how the damage was caused. If the damage was caused by one of our drivers whilst having control and manoeuvring a customer’s vehicle, then we would be responsible for the damage caused. However, if the damage was caused by a 3rd party, such as another customer driving in the car park, or a returning customer in an adjacent bay, then the responsibility for the damage would not lie with the Meet & Greet or Drop & Go parking products, it would be with the 3rd party. I would recommend reviewing the documentation that you received when making your booking, which outlined the Terms and Conditions regarding liability and damage. As described in Section 8.2 of the Terms & Conditions to damage caused. “We accept no liability for loss or damage, including any damage to your vehicle’s paintwork including where caused by a third-party unless proved to be caused by our negligence.” In this instance, we deem this damage to have been caused by a 3rd party and is not due to the negligence of our drivers
Pain free. Does exactly what I need it to do. I arrive, park ,leave keys, and no stress finding a parking spot. They move and ensure that the car is ready for us on return, as well as I can monitor on my car app the location and status of the vehicle. App not related to meet and greet, car specific Yes, you will pay more than normal parking. However, it's cheaper than a taxi and easy to use. The key is collected via a bar code and taken from a locker on arrival. Recommend it if you want a smooth start to a work or family trip.
I'd booked 7 days parking here, then seen the reviews. The last thing you want is damage to your vehicle when returning from your holiday. I was a little concerned but took the "risk" it's in a great location for the terminal especially if you've got children aswell as suitcases and a pushchair. It was as simple as scanning my bar code upon arrival, retrieved my key and my car was parked within sight. Easy drop off and an easy collection. Staff were helpful when dropping off and was more than happy to answer any questions i had. Will use again in the future
I returned to find my car's wheel badly scratched while parked at your facility. This is unacceptable and disappointing. I'm seeking compensation for the repair, but I haven't received any reply from the Manchester Airport team.
Really terrible this so beware. I left my car in pristine condition. It was left for me with 2 areas of damage. Their response is simply they didn't do it and read the Ts and Cs. Absolute disgrace will cost a few hundred £s to get back to same condition. I'd avoid using this service
Incredibly easy and convenient to use - two minutes away from the retinal entrance. The staff are friendly and helpful - should you need their assistance. Also good value for money. Very happy to use their services again.
It seems odd to review a carpark but over the years I’ve used the M&G facilities at Manchester and the staff are always great. On Monday I returned from India with a severe upset stomach and the worst case of dehydration I’ve had, I felt drunk and couldn’t walk in a straight line. I explained to the kiosk staff at T1 M&G that my wife was coming to drive me home and I was told I could wait as long as I needed. Yes, it’s not cheap to park but they are great and someone showed a big chunk of humanity by waving any possible addition charges so that I could avoid driving while unwell. Thank you so much to the gentleman on the desk at T1 M&G around 13:00
Recently used the Meet and Greet service and returned to find my driver side door handle had been pulled clean off. The car park manager assure me that they would have it repaired within 10 days, 4 days after I returned I received an email stating that my handle fel off due to wear and tear and it's not their problem.
