Story

The Man Lee was established in the 1970s in Blackburn England by Lee Cheong Ting, originally named Li’s Chip Shop. The business relocated to Northern Ireland in 1980 selling Chinese and English takeaway meals.

This family run business has spanned over three generations, selling the highest quality food available from locally sourced produce.

This quality has been maintained for over 30 years due to our sustained efforts to preserve our food preparation methods, such as our freshly roasted whole chickens and spare ribs which take over 3 hours to prepare each day. The size of our meals has not changed either with generous portions which can fill the biggest of appetites.

Very long established carryout. Always busy. Good food

Ordered from man lee tonight because I couldn’t get through to my preferred, monthly, treat Chinese ... Maxims Lisburn. And on delivery I was quickly reminded why I don’t use man lee.
The same meal in Maxims is £4 cheaper, with free prawn crackers and sauce included on the ribs!
The maxims meal is near twice the size of man lee and twice as tasty!!
When maxims say 45 mins delivery it’s not too far off, not the 1 hour 30 mins of man lee. 
Rooky mistake giving man lee another chance! Won’t happen again!

Always great food, the special curry is outstanding.  I don't think I can ever remember getting a bad meal from the Man Lee.  The service is good from knowledgeable staff sometimes a bit slow due to the volume of orders, that tells a story on it's own. A very popular takeaway.

Love this Chinese carry out and like many others I am prepared to travel to get my weekly Chinese. Food is good and the portion sizes are generous. Also a great variety. They accept telephone orders and offer delivery service.
