Probably the best shopping experience I've ever had. 3+ hours of expertise, patience and a personal touch from Natalie during our personal shopping experience. Got everything we needed, with real honest opinions on what we did and didn't need, and thoroughly enjoyed what could have been a highly stressful experience. The team here know their stuff and help you navigate the minefield that is the baby equipment market. Highly recommend a morning here with the personal shopping, forget John Lewis!
I had to buy a gift for my neighbour's baby shower. Staff at this store were extremely helpful, the store is well stocked with a range of items. If you're in need of any baby products, this is the best store anywhere between Kent and Cardiff.
This review is not specific to mamas and papas swindon shop but for mamas and papas customer service. Very very bad service by Mamas and Papas online delivery. Order Number: 150718977 Not delivered and when called customer service they don’t respond in a good manner and disconnected the call Very very bad to buy from mamas and papas website.
I had a bad experience in John Lewis looking at travel systems earlier that day and as a first time mum it confused me. I then drove to Swindon to visit your store, and they couldn't have made me feel more comfortable and myself and my mother in law left very happy having put down a deposit on a whole travel system. I just want them to be recognised as I honestly haven't received that level of customer service from anywhere recently, and have never written a good review but I feel they deserved it.
First ever visit, first time parents, a shop like this can be a mix of feelings and emotions. What to buy?, How does it work? Whats best for our child and will it work for us? Because we don't know the answers and are worried we will look stupid and ill prepared. Well what a breath of fresh air, the staff were fantastic, they physically could not do enough to make us feel welcome and at ease, no request was an issue, no hard sell or pushy assistants. We were allowed to sample and test all the equipment and if we got stuck the lady stepped in, and was happy to show us. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure. Mums and Dads to be or Parents with growing families I would highly recommend a visit to the Swindon store. Thank you to the staff
Couldn't fault their service. We went in to do another look at prams and carseats. I was mostly settled on the pram I wanted but not settled on the carseat or which version of my pram bundle that I wanted. The lady was super helpful and even got out a car seat that wasn't on show which really helped us make up our mind. We're now 100% set on what we wanted and I would highly recommend their service - the only place that was comparable on level of service was John Lewis.
Really great customer service. Went there with broken button on ocarro, though they’re gonna give us a date to come and bring it for repair, instead they took it straight away and gave us a spare seat to use and on top greased all the wheels. Also they said it’s gonna take 3 maybe 4 weeks, but I got a call in less then 2 weeks that it’s ready for collection. Great job
Still waiting for Mamas and Papas to resolve a problem we had with our personal shopper experience in store. Our pram bundle we thought we were buying didn’t actually include the isofix base, even though this was discussed in store. The car seat we were shown and purchased is not officially compatible with the pram. Customer service admitted their fault on this issue but getting in touch with them to resolve it is ridiculous - long waits on the phone and endless email replies which break the chain of communication. Avoid!
Very disappointing after sale service. Spent over £3,000 in shop. First delivery date it didn't arrive, nobody told us. 2nd delivery date no notification as promised. It turned up at 4pm after waiting all day. Not everything arrived. Called them to find out why as they didn't call us. Arranged another delivery date and it turned up with no notification. Rang head office to complain and was told Claire was busy and would call back. Still waiting the following day. Order arrived still things missing. Been told high chair will arrive in 1 more month....that's 3 months after our order! Mamas and Papas certainly know how to add to the worry of pregnancy....be warned poor customer service, they never answer the phone and they DON'T CARE!
Just been to look at pushchairs and Kelly was amazing! Very charismatic and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
