"At Edinburgh beach we specialize in Spanish tapas and paellas. We hand made our dishes and we have particular pride in our own baked bread selection. Come and enjoy some Jamon Serrano con Manchego cheese our meatballs are just delicious and our King prawns just succulent, Why don't complement them with a Spanish beer or wine,Te esperamos!!"

We recently dined here for a evening meal. The restaurant is small and it was quiet when we were there. Service is faultless, the waiter was very attentive and welcoming. We ordered calamari for starters which was good. For mains we had a paella. Unfortunately our dish was lacking flavour. Despite the dish looking nice, it was quite bland actually. It was almost like they had missed a few spices. I regrettably never mentioned anything to the waiter because I am sure he would of provided assistance but I don’t like to complain. Our desserts were lovely. I had the almond cake and my wife had the cheesecake. I am giving this 3 stars because our main meal was a disappointment. I reckon if we had ordered some tapas our score would be much higher but sadly the paella wasn’t the best.
Was here as part of a group of hungry guys. Starters mains, desert and coffee were all really good. The waitress was very good, very pleasant and faultless throughout the night. The owner was a lovely gentleman with a good sense of humour. Between us, I think we tried 70% of the menu and everything was great. And the homemade lemonade was great. Would recommend for a good night of tapas!
Fantastic meal! Shared some tasty homemade breads and dips to start, followed by one of the best paellas I've eaten, finished off with yummy churos with chocolate. Can't wait to go back!
Family meal in midweek. Restaurant full with a friendly atmosphere. Food and drink very good. Service was excellent. A bit pricey IMO but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Food: 4/5
Genuine Spanish food, good range of tapas and paellas. Staff always in a good mood and cracking jokes. One of our favourite place to have lunch or dinner in Portobello. Dietary restrictions: Plenty options for my mum needing gluten-free and dairy free dishes.
Really slow service, no one checking for drinks or order. When the food did arrive it was firstly not what we ordered then what we did was really overcooked, mushy vegetables on soggy bread and everything was really bland and under seasoned and spiced. Hopefully just an off day as cute place but wouldn’t return.
Lovely selection of choices on the menu. We could have happily eaten anything on offer. The pil pil paella was very tasty and beautifully cooked and the service was relaxed, friendly and welcoming.Food: 5/5
Recently went for a lunch. We ordered 4 tapas dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. Nice place with a good atmosphere. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Cozy, family-run, authentic Spanish food. Lovely selection, freshly made, and worth the money! Could improve a couple aspects - lack of tortilla on the tapas menu and the admittedly sad amount of bread given on the charcuterie boards two small pieces that can’t even be counted as a single slice - not enough for one person, not to mention two. Otherwise loved everything about it - especially recommend the champiñones al ajillo. Le doy mis felicitaciones al chef desde Tenerife!
The meal was ok but portions were poor so poor value for money. Had a decidedly average paella and paid for extra prawns. Received two prawns in total. So £2.50 per prawn? It was also not a very big paella. The mini loaf and small ramekin of cheese in the middle of the table? About £5 each. I'm just glad we had dinner plans later! Over £60 and only just satiated. It's a shame because I like the place and the mini olive loaf was lovely but to charge that for something the size of a dinner roll is just greedy.
