Being an Avid foodie and enjoy trying various new kinds of food... I moved into Headington a few months back, having tried most of the Indian Restaurants/takeaways around here, I stumbled upon Malikas! By far the best Indian food I have tasted, the curries tasted fresh with the meat done to perfection and the rice is fragrant and really compliments the main! the takeaway service is spot on, always on time so far and food as warm as it was leaving the Kitchen. The Restaurant itself is a really nice, warming environment, the staff are friendly and helpful and you can not help feeling relaxed in a clean environment with the help of Indian style music in the background! Keep up the good work guys!

Delivery is a shambles - don't bother. On a Tuesday night we ordered a meal via Just-Eat. On the website they suggested it would be a 45 minute wait. When the food order was confirmed, that wait had gone up from 45 minutes to c.1hr 15. At that point there is nothing you can do to cancel. When the order hadn't turned up (original order was 20:15, subsequent suggested delivery time was 21:35) we received a text from Just Eat at 21:39 saying the order was now "En Route". I took a phone call at 22:09 saying that they were "6 minutes away". I cancelled the order - thank goodness if you order through Just Eat you can do that easily. This is the 2nd time this has happened from Malikas. I will not order from them again.

Fantastic restaurant. Friend & I had different vegetarian dishes on wknd. We both found them very tasty. Excellent service.

Really disgusting takeaway. Bright red and hyper oily biryani, ordered hot so they basically stirred 2 chilies into the bland base source. Quite shockingly bad. They were polite and delivered quickly, I guess. I won't be back.

I enjoy the food here though I have recently had a take away experience which was dire. We were told we would have to wait 1 hour 20 minutes after placing our order. After taking over 1 hour 40 min I called up the restaurant and was told that the order had left. I called again in 15 min and was told the food had not actually left and was still waiting for a driver. When it eventually turned up it was pretty much stone cold. Will not be using again. Our evening was pretty much ruined.
