Stayed here on a city break in Newcastle, it was nice and central, staff were welcoming, room was clean and comfortable. There's 3 lifts, all worked for the length of our stay. The Hotel is well presented the bar and restaurant are really nice, breakfast was lovely, staff were cheery, and a good choice too.
Our room faced the main road and was so noisy. There were no notes of the rooms potentially being noisy nor the potential to request a quiet room. Passers by continued until after 3am and then the road sweep/cleaners started around 6am for about an hour.nnThe room itself was lovely and clean, comfortable and a decent size. Just the noise was disappointing.
Absolutely perfect stay with my wife and kids. We were planning to go into the city, but service in the hotel was so good we just ended up staying in the hotel all night. Lovely food and fantastic courtyard for us all to enjoy our evening. We booked 2 adjoining rooms which was perfect for the 5 of us. Big thanks to David H in the restaurant and manager Anna for making our stay so memorable. PG
Fantastic time at the Maldron Hotel Newcastle. Came for a 60th Birthday party. Rooms were spotless, showers were amazing. We would also like to thank you for taking the time and consideration for changing our mattress which was dipping the new mattress and pillows were amazing and made our sleep so much more comfortable, we really appreciated this.nStaff were attentive, kind and respectful. We liked the security aspect at the main entrance to avoid unwanted, non residents entering the premises and felt safe at all times. We also enjoyed the encounter with your bot service very innovative.nThank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.
Very friendly and helpful staff, providing a warm welcome and happy to help with any queries. Great central location for exploring the centre of Newcastle and the nearby quayside. Spacious lobby and dining/bar areas. Butler bot is a quirky feature and had guests captivated! Lovely and varied dinners served. Clean and spacious rooms, only quibble being lack of storage space if staying for more than one night.
