Maker Church is a joy to walk around but the graveyard is not well maintained so you can’t read all the stones which is a great shame
The verger was so knowledgeable regarding people interred there. Lovely church. Was able to park right outside it.
Beautiful church in a beautiful location. Well maintained with many original features. It is worth walking around the cemetery to read the tombstones.
We were asked to attend the church as an exchange, we bat for the other side so to speak being satanic worshippers, the poor priest we exchanged with probably found our rituals a tad barbaric, he would have been told being a newbie he would be expected to slaughter the sacrificial goat, I would have loved to have seen his face!, I found the church boring, the thin bits of round bread not filling at all, the wine was shared and non of us got the slightest bit drunk!, poor show
