I was recommended Major Family Law by a close friend after going through an extremely traumatic time with my ex partner.  Sam Carter was not only exceptionally knowledgeable, he was also compassionate and empathetic with the sensitive nature of the case.  He was given just over a days notice of our urgent court hearing and arranged an excellent barrister for a court location of over 300 miles from his office.  The firm were happy to take on the case despite our South London location.  Sam was highly professional, rose to the challenge and got the outcome needed for our family. I found Christian Swinburne to be warm, friendly and an excellent communicator. His service was efficient and reasonably priced, what is not to like. I also understand he is rather partial to the odd glass of red wine which makes him all the more approachable. I wish the firm every success.

I recently visited Major Family Law in Ponteland to write my will. Christian Swinburne did an excellent job. He was friendly and welcoming and made me feel very relaxed and at ease. Much credit and recommendations to solicitor Christian Swinburne as I found the advice i received in relation to making my new Will clear and helpful. He was polite, warm and easy to talk to.  It also helped that it was FREE Will Making Month for the over 55's.

A highly recommended firm of family lawyers. I was a little hesitant at consulting solicitors as my circumstances were rather unusual. However, I was instantly made to feel at ease and given very clear and considered legal advice. Helen and Lucinda were really helpful and knowledgeable and I can't thank them enough. Top rate!
