I used to work here as a Trainee Manager 10 years ago....going by the Majestic Principals, I was very surprised by my recent experience, whilst I appreciate it was the Christmas period, I was not impressed by the following: 1 No music in store 2 No 'would you like any help' 3 Boxes of merchandise across the aisles 4 Used staff coffee mug on the merchandise boxes 5 No invite to the tasting counter 6 White wine cooler in tasting counter not chilled 6 Lack of enthusiasm from staff 7 Case of wine just dumped outside the car. It felt like the staff couldn't be bothered to give a good service. I just wouldn't expect this from the service I gave whilst working at Majestic even during Christmas, it's a real shame to see. Will I be back? No, I don't think so. Retail is Detail - if Keith Blessley sprung a surprise visit, he'd not be 'very good, very good'... 2 stars, because there was a good selection of wines...even if they are stocking Yellow Tail Shiraz these days
If you order wine 10 days in advance you expect it to arrive on time. Spend too much money with them every year but no more. No explanation just pass on the problem to Yodel.
I had a problem in that I didn't receive a delivery of 12 bottles of prosecco. It took a few attempts to contact the right person, but I can forgive that over the busiest period of the year, but they then quickly resolved the matter to my complete satisfaction and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you.
I didn't go into Majestic Wines, I was at the Traffic Lights outside Majestic Wines.
I recently had to complain that several bottles from a promotion were corked and contacted the relevant online dept. I spoke to Manjit who immediately refunded my money and also refunded the cost of another equivalent bottle. A corked bottle can happen at any time. I was hugely impressed by the no-fuss and helpful attitude from Manjit and so will continue to buy from Majestic
The young lady long brown hair knew about the types of wine we are looking for. We are definitely using Majestic Wine Falmouth for our wedding guests wines & sparkling wine.
Late on a dark and stormy night true, my wife and I were lost in Falmouth and I went into Majestic Wine on Dracaena Ave., and asked if I could use their phone. The young man dialed for me as an American, I'm not sure whether you use a +44 or a 0 and graciously permitted me to get directions to our B&B. Thank you for your kindness!
I was bought a bottle of Lady Sauvignon as a present. The whole experience, from opening the wrapper and seeing the beautiful label combined with the short story on the back.l [great marketing!!] made me excited for what was held within.....I was right to be excited.
Great selection of wines. Some of the best NZ sauvignon blancs available. Signed up to their wine club to take advantage of their offers.
5 stars because they have an amazing variety of wines, gin, rum and other 'Majestic' drinks. We tried a bottle of Kaiken, Argentinian Malbec, truly exceptional quality of 2016.
