Feb 2017 and my son is in P2. He loves the school and, as a parent, I love the school ethos. They are very conscious of making sure the children are happy which, in turn, keeps the home happy. They have rules, which are fair and well enforced, but also encourage and maintain a great relationship with the families. They use the Jolly Phonics system, which I sniffed at originally, but am pleased to say I now thoroughly appreciate the system and how well it works with the kids.nReally happy with the school, the staff and how well our family are getting on with the education system provided. I would thoroughly recommend this school!
An amazing school!!! I cannot praise the staff and principal enough for their commitment to creating such a nurturing and inclusive environment. Their approach to meeting each child's needs, both academically, as well as socially and emotionally is inspiring. Both my children have really grown in self-esteem and academic confidence as a result of their experience at this school.
We have a daughter in P5 at the school. We have always been extremely happy with the standard of teaching and the welcoming atmosphere at the school. As well as the focus on education, the school adheres to a set of values decided jointly by the staff, pupils and parents which encourages the social development of the children. A wide variety of extra curricular activities and links with the local community ensure all needs are met to help produce well-rounded children.
Nov 2018. I have two boys at the school, they literally skip out of the car each morning. As a parent knowing my children are happy, nurtured and stretched to reach their full potential is very, very reassuring. The teachers, support staff and leadership share a vision to create an environment which is pupil centred, decisions are made which take into consideration the unique needs of each and every child in their care. I have no hesitatations in leaving a 5 star review for this school.
I have 2 very happy children at this school. You will not find a more welcoming environment than here, both teaching staff and children are so helpful. The behaviour of the children is a real credit to the school and parents. If you are considering this school just go and have a look around and you will soon see for yourself just what i mean!!
