Good station. Parking, lifts, toilets, seating areas and cafe available here.
Thank you for holding the train to Marlow even though you knew there were issues at Paddington resulting in passengers having to go to Reading and then come back to Maidenhead.nnZERO COMMS!
During my recent visit to Maidenhead Train Station, I had a positive experience. The staff was friendly and always ready to help, which made the journey more enjoyable. The station regularly starts some Elizabeth line services, allowing for a better chance of securing a seat, albeit with a slightly longer journey. Nonetheless, if comfort is a priority and you don't mind the extra time, it's a good option.nnMaidenhead Train Station is well-maintained and clean, creating a welcoming ambiance. The spacious and well-signposted platforms make navigation easy. The station's central location provides convenient access to nearby amenities, making it an ideal hub for both locals and tourists.nnIn summary, Maidenhead Train Station offers a hassle-free travel experience. The friendly staff and regular Elizabeth line services are definite advantages. If you prioritize comfort and don't mind a slightly longer journey, I recommend giving Maidenhead Train Station a try.
A smallish station that has services to Reading to the west and Slough and London to the east. Great Western trains stop here.
It has been improved somewhat with a longer platform 1, better waiting area, and more ticket machines but it's not a particularly special place.nThe regular crazy traffic around the station doesn't help but is not fault of the rail operator.nAt the moment it is the site of a lot of works due to Crossrail Elizabeth line coming soon.nUpdate: marked down because of poor protection during inclement weather whilst waiting.nFurthermore, there is a woman who works at the ticket office who refuses to sell tickets at the best fare; I know some of the GroupSave rules can be tricky but surely it is her job to know this!
