Authentic & delicious Iranian food. This is the kind of restaurants where families & friends meet for a meal in the weekend. I’ve been there several times & the food was consistently good. The portions are HUGE though, so we always ordered one mixed grill for 2 people see photo. The Persian ice cream is a must try if you’re a saffron lover. The prices are compatible with the big portions & high meat quality.
We had a large party of 11 people and we had only booked at 15 minutes before through an app and they were completely ready for us. While we had a small selection of food, everything was perfect. We had the hummus and bread, and then the mixed grill with some barberries rice. Meat was season perfectly and the rice was so good that I would go back just for that. We had a great time and I would come back in a heartbeat.
Delicious food. I loved the bread goes really well with the meats and the sauces that came with it. The rice was soft and the meats were tender, packed full of flavour! We got the mixed grill to share, certainly didn’t disappoint. Service was good and the food came out fairly quick. Look forward to my next trip! Thank you Parking: Free street parking available in the evening.
The restaurant was nice but the service was sort of slow, the food was quite expensive £16.5 for a veggie dish >£20 for meat and not that remarkable in my opinion. Some of the food was good according to my friends the chicken platter and some of it was not particularly special. There were 4 veggie options for mains which is decent and between us we ordered three of them but they were not that great. I wouldn’t go back again.
Brilliant meal at Mahdi. Very generous portions and we even got given complimentary tea and baklava. The food was excellent and so was the service. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Hammersmith area.Food: 5/5
I’ve tried this place mixed grill before and it was really nice and the rice was also nice BUT I came again and it was a disappointment tbh. The meat wasn’t that great as it normally was and the rice was kinda dry. The restaurant was empty besides a few people but the food still arrived just a bit warm. The waiter wasn’t rude but she just seemed fed up with her job.
On Monday, with my friend who came from Italy, we reserved a table for two people for dinner, the food was delicious, the waiters were kind and polite, all the food we ordered was recommended by the young waiter named Feri there, and I was very happy. I miss meeting her , we will be back again hoping to see her there again.Food: 5/5

Best restaurant in Hammersmith! The food is delicious and authentic! The aesthetics of the restaurant are really nice and transport you straight to Persia! The portions are really generous as well! The staff are lovely and attentive.Food: 5/5
