The food took a crazy amount of time from ordering to being ready - nearly an hour, to the point we had to switch from eating in to taking out - so will in future order online first. The food was totally worth the wait, the burgers were amazing. Definitely one to get delivered next time though.Food: 5/5
Best burger I have ever had. No other burger across Bath, Bristol, Cardiff or even London can compare. I even tried The Hills in Brecon which is supposed to the best in UK at the moment, but Magu wiped the floor with them. I know my burgers and this one is a level above the rest.
Customer service is none existent. Waited 10 mins just to place my order with barely any acknowledgement from the owner/ staff member who took it. It was busy so waited another 30 mins to receive my takeaway burger, not really an issue but the person simply gave it to me without saying thank you as if I’ve just asked him for a massive favour to serve me a burger I waited a considerable amount of time for. I can’t possibly recommend this place to anyone. On the plus side, my mum devoured her burger but I’d never come back.
Burgers and Fries are delicious…. Have tried 3 of their burgers now and am yet to be disappointed! Would definitely recommend eating in instead of takeaway. Only fault is they’re not open every day…
Underwhelming. Ordered via Uber: two smash and grab burgers, fries and two sodas as part of a deal. No sodas on arrival. The burgers were underwhelming to say the least: just some cheese and the patties, no sauce or pickle, bland and greasy. Waited an hour to receive this as well. Had Magu before, but don’t think I’m gonna bother again.
One of the best burgers in town for sure. Consistent quality since day one, I've visited them many times. Bit disappointed or rather surprised with an extra charge for having food in, but I guess they must control the crowd due to the limited spaces there. Overall, if you're Burger Lover it's very good place to visit and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. 5 for food quality. Update Nearly year after I've visited them for the first time, still great food Only customer service is something needs reviewing... atmosphere there isn't very pleasant even when you just pop in to pick up your take away food. It's not the first time.ive been there this year and we feel sometimes that they're upset that we visited... That's nevertheless easy to fix as the food is outstanding
Small warning the menu outside on the door isn’t representative of what they actually have on offer on the menus inside and online via their app. Ordered the vegan burger and the mini all American smash. The vegan burger was very good, probably one of the best ones I’ve had to date. However, while the mini all American smash was good, it wasn’t really worth thr price when you can get the same from Burger King in the form of a Whopper for half the price. Service was okay, but nothing to write home about.
Me and the wife love the burgers, best we've ever had better than any other in Bath by miles. Keep an eye out for the specials they are superb with the combination of flavours. The Alcoholic milkshakes and slushys are fantastic and a nice add for the adults. Be prepared to wait for your food as it gets busy, it can be up to 40 mins on very busy days, but trust me the flavour sensation of your first bite is worth that wait.
A proper burger restaurant. Magu know how to make a perfect burger, smashed patties and un-real secret sauce. Well priced and definitely worth a visit!
Lovely place and the burgers were very good, the only disappointment is if your going to charge £3.50 or £4.50 for French fries and curly fries at-least make sure there fried fresh? Ours were very cold which was highly disappointing especially considering the cost, I don’t have an issue paying any amount of money for food however I expect it to come correct
