Whilst on holiday in the area visited Magpie Funtasia cafe in Warminster, what a lovely, quirky little cafe and shop. It is situated at the top of the Main Street and is well worth walking past all the other cafes to come to this unique little one. It is run by Julia and Robbie, who were very friendly and keen to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Great food and coffee. Lots of interesting gifts in the shop.

I had heard from friends about the amazing Magpie cafe and gift shop, so I popped in for lunch and a browse, on my way home from Centre Parcs. It was such a lovely ending to my holiday! The shop has an eclectic and quirky range of good quality products at affordable prices - there is something on sale for everyone! The food was fantastic, as well as the coffee, atmosphere and service - I didn't want to leave! If you just telepone, browse on-line or worse still - walk past, you'll be missing out a wonderful opportunity. Don't take my word for it...find out for yourself!

Wow! I just called Magpie. I was interested in particular pair of shoes by The Irregular Choice. A pair usually costs £80-£100. At first I spoke to a gentleman who did not seem to know what I was asking about so handed the phone over to another gentleman, who straight away treated my accent as a "cold call" and from then on reluctantly relpied to all my questions. When I asked about the type of shoes I was interested in he started explaining there are "thousands of types" of them and again reluctant to even have a look. I ended the call with saying it had no point trying to find out any more. It did upset me, I found this gentleman's attitude ignorant and rude. Because I work in the neighbourhood I wanted to make a purchase, now I completely changed my mind. No customer care + no communication skills = no shoes purchase...
