An informative and fun place to visit. A huge, imposing building houses four areas of interactive exhibits covering all four elements - Earth, air, fire and water - and their relationship to the steel industry. A good few hours of entertainment for all the family. Other areas of the building can be hired for private and corporate events. A reasonable cafe area with average prices for a place like this. Entry prices were good for the entertainment. A good 5 out of 5 from me.

A thoroughly stimulating place to visit, with something of interest for everyone. Only marred by quite a few of the exhibits being inoperative, looking due to age and perhaps lack of maintenance. Nevertheless, highly recommended - outstanding value (free return visits for a year included with your entry - just bring along passport photos to get your pass!). Loads to do both indoors and out, so something for any season too. Superb place to take overseas visitors to enable their learning something of the local industry.

I dropped one star because of a few activities being broken down. It's a shame and perhaps they need a bit more funding. Apart from that, it's a good place to go. The price is decent for a year-long pass. There is lots to see and learn, easy to spend 2-3hrs there, longer if you include lunch.

Fun overall, great out door play space, but several of the funny interactive exhibition were out of order. The Family enjoyed the water section the most. Please note that the main section of the forge is not heated.

Awesome! Both my kids love it here. Educational, interactive & fun. Magna is a large attraction with lots of walking (flat) but there are plenty of toilets, seating and lifts. Walkways are very generous and can easily accommodate pushchairs & wheelchairs. Even in summer, Magna can be very cold as it is built in an old steelworks building (designed to remove heat) so bring coats & jumpers. You will also need to bring a small towel and changes of clothes if you want to get the most out of water world (the indoor one). The water bit is a "hands only" water play exploration area and little plastic aprons are provided, however, we all know what kids are like and if you really want to let your kids (and adults!) enjoy this area to the full - bring a small towel and changes of clothes 😊 Then head down to the "fire" bit and warm up in front of the fire tornado! There is a cafe and gift shop. We can't wait to come back in the summer when the outdoor bits are open too! The whole thing took about 2hrs to see everything, but we could have easily spent longer.
